Free Storage For Evacuees
Free storage is available to those displaced from homes by the fires
Evacuees who need a space to store belongings may be able to use a unit from Meathead Movers free for one month. A valid driver’s license showing a current address that is in an evacuation zone is necessary. To confirm a unit is available call 805-987-7201.
To replace driver’s licenses damaged or lost in the fire, the DMV is offering free duplicates at the local assistance center (LAC). The LAC is located at 3451 Foothill Road, Ventura and open Monday through Saturday, 9am – 7pm and Sunday from 9am to 4pm.
